2018 BUDDS CREEK NATIONAL: TAKE A LAP OF TODAY’S TRACK

This is what is technically known as the “penultimate round” of the 2018 AMA 250/450 National Championship. Held at the classic Budds Creek facility, it is the 11th race in the 12-race series. While most of the drama has been drained out of the racing by the dominance of Eli Tomac in the 450 class and a rash of injuries that took out two of the favorites in the 250 class—there are still bragging right on the line…and for some riders this is one of only two chances to show that they deserve to be on the short list when it comes time to sign riders for the 2019 Supercross and National series.
